If you are interested in working in development, script reading can be a great place to start. We pay script readers to help with the volume of scripts and books that are submitted to us, so we are always interested in hearing from people who would like to read for us. Readers play a crucial role in telling us what is worth taking a second look at and what we might pass on.
Readers should have a good sense of the landscape of UK and international TV, and a confident idea of what they like and don’t like. They should be able to identify clearly what works or doesn’t work in a piece of writing. They should be able to summarise a story clearly and concisely, and argue their opinion of the writing persuasively.
If you would like to be considered, please download the form below and fill it out, returning to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please only submit the form, and keep to the word limit. At this stage, we don’t need to see CVs or any other material. We’ll get back in touch with people who we think might be suitable as soon as we can, but please be aware that we might not be able to respond to everyone.
