Benidorm Series 7

Benidorm Series 7

The Summer sun is blazing across Benidorm’s blue skies, and the Solana is open for business. The new series is crammed with best-loved characters and fantastic VIP guests, too.
Madge, Mick, Janice and Michael Garvey (Sheila Reid, Steve Pemberton, Siobhan Finneran & Oliver Stokes) are checking back in for their holiday, along with the Dyke Family’s father and son (Perry Benson, Danny Walters) – who introduce us to Clive’s outrageous sister, Terri (Charlotte Eaton). With Clive and Tonya Dyke having recently separated, it turns out that Clive, Terri and Tiger are all on the lookout for love – will any of them get lucky?
Jacqueline Stewart (Janine Duvitski) is here on a 25th wedding anniversary treat – a wife swap, which her husband Donald has arranged – bringing us guest appearances from Ruth Madoc and Alan David, who play Riannon and Glynn Flint; naturists from Wales.
Series 7 also sees the triumphant return of Geoff, The Oracle (Johnny Vegas), his ‘P.A.’, Noreen (Elsie Kelly), plus the CEO of the Solana Leisure Group, Crystal Hennessy-Vass (Joan Collins). The Oracle is here on business, as well as on pleasure, getting himself entangled not only with Crystal Hennessy-Vass, but with Ionela, a beautiful Romanian (Milanka Brooks), who he’s about to meet for the first time, after a successful internet courtship.
Headed by Joyce Temple-Savage (Sherrie Hewson), the Solana’s magnificent staff are here in full force. Lesley (Tim Healy) and his son Liam (Adam Gillen) are confronted with the unexpected arrival of Lesley’s vengeful ex-wife Gloria (Denise Black), who wants Liam to return to the UK. Mateo (Jake Canuso) has marital problems all of his own, brought about by his formidable mother-in-law, Dolores (Loles León). Kenneth du Beke (Tony Maudsley) is taking advantage of his rent-free salon and expanding the services available at Blow & Go, though a seance conducted by one of his customers (Amanda Barrie) is not something he had planned… Joyce, meanwhile, has the pressures of management building up on her: Crystal Hennessy-Vass is making demands for cuts left, right and centre, and Joyce finds herself at risk of losing her job to arch rival, Janey Yorke (Crissy Rock). Not only that, but Janey is keen to put her nephew Jason (Philip Olivier) back behind the bar.
With heart-melting, jaw-dropping storylines, and all-star, VIP appearances from John Challis, Bobby Crush, Alice Barlow, Leslie Jordan and Nadia Sawalha, Benidorm Series 7 has all the makings of a holiday of a lifetime. Your all-inclusive wristband awaits you.
